Update

It's been a little bit since I blogged so I figured I better let everyone know I'm still alive. Adjusting to life with two kiddos has definitely been an adventure. My mom was here for a few days this past week, which helped tremendously with Natalie. She got lots of attention from Grammie which was wonderful since Laney required almost all of my attention. Michael's youngest brother has been visiting us this weekend, too. It's been nice to see so much family. Tomorrow we're all on our own. Michael's going to Houston tomorrow and will be gone until Tuesday, so keep us in your prayers. I feel like I've regressed the past couple of days because I'm not getting enough sleep. Hopefully, we can get on some sort of schedule soon. At least where both girls nap at the same time. I've also had a few issues nursing. That's another story, though. Until next time...

Double Blessings

Well, life is definitely an adjustment with two kiddos. Natalie is doing great with her baby sister! Laney is doing great as well! She has her days and nights mixed up right now, so she and I are sleeping on the couch for the time being. I've really enjoyed Michael being home this week. It's been so nice. My mom's coming for a few days next week so I'll have some help during the day. Here's a few pictures of our new bundle of joy!

She's Here!

Laney Kaylynne Tollison joined our family Saturday, May 2nd at 1:24pm. She weighed 8 pounds 13 ounces and measured 20 inches long. She's absolutely beautiful! We got home today and are doing great!

Getting Closer

Well, no baby yet. Today is my official due date, though. I went back to the doctor yesterday. I'm dialated to a 3. I was so sure I would be further along. Oh, well. If I don't have Laney this weekend, then he's going to induce first thing Monday morning. It still doesn't seem like it's time for her to be here. This pregnancy has gone by way too fast! I can't wait to hold her and see Natalie's reaction to her new sister. Please keep us in your prayers for a safe and healthy delivery.

This week has been kinda slow and since we're just waiting around on Laney it has gone by even slower! So, I picked up some material at WalMart the other day to make a couple of shirts to keep me busy. I'll post a picture after I have Laney so I can actually model the shirt. It turned out pretty cute. I need to alter the pattern just a little, but it's definitely a keeper. It has a gather right above the bustline so I can hide what Laney leaves behind until I can get completely rid of it.

Hopefully, we can rest and relax this weekend until we have two girls!
